The Oklahoma Sooners opened as seven-point favorites over the TCU Horned Frogs, but the spread moved to 6.5-points after some early action. Both teams hold a strong 8-1 record going into the Week 11 meeting, and the story will be about the one of the country’s best defenses (TCU) against the best offense (Oklahoma). This one has all the makings of a one-score game (every TCU-OU game since 2012 has been decided by seven points or less) and while the Sooners will enjoy the comforts of home, TCU has almost always been competitive against Oklahoma. It would not be shocking for the Horned Frogs to hop their way to an upset here. Register to bet and wager with your pick.

Betting on the TCU Horned Frogs 8-1 (+6.5)
The 6th ranked TCU Horned Frogs visit the 5th ranked Oklahoma Sooners, in what should be one of the most entertaining games of the college football weekend. CFB playoff hopes are on the line in Norman.
The TCU Horned Frogs are one of the more surprising teams in the BIG 12 this year. Currently ranked 5th in the nation and tied with the Sooners for the BIG 12 Conference lead at 4-1 TCU quarterback, Kenny Hill has been the difference maker offensively this season for TCU. He has passed for 2009 yards, 15 touchdowns and five interceptions on the year.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Horned Frogs have dominated the BIG 12 in almost every major defensive stat category. TCU ranks 2nd in defensive efficiency, 1st in points, 1st in yards allowed and 1st in passing yards allowed per game this season.
Betting on the Oklahoma Sooners 8-1 (-6.5)
Oklahoma understands the magnitude of this Saturday’s matchup. The Sooners passed their most recent biggest test of the season, beating the Oklahoma State, 62-52. Baker Mayfield was legendary in last weeks win.
He was 24 of 36 for 598 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions in the 10 point road win. Mayfield’s performance has him as the Heisman front-runner with three regular season games to play. Defensively, the Sooners are a struggling bunch. Oklahoma fans have been calling for the firing of defensive coordinator Mike Stoops. The Sooners are allowing 413 yards per game this year under Stoops this year.
The last time these two teams faced each other, was last season. The Sooners were ranked 5th last year and beat the unranked Horned Frogs, 52-46 on the road. Expect the Horned Frogs to play with a chip on their shoulder in this matchup.
Writer’s Prediction
This game should arguably be the best game of the weekend. TCU has the best defense and Oklahoma has the best offense in the BIG 12. Baker Mayfield might need to be better than he was last week to get the win. TCU is up to the challenge this weekend against Oklahoma. If the Horned Frogs are going to get the win, Kenny Hill must take care of the ball and win the time of possession battle. Oklahoma has been knocking on the college football playoff door the past few years, only to fall short. Expect Baker Mayfield to lead the Sooners to a close home win, but not by seven points. Pick: TCU (+6.5)
