TV Broadcast: ESPN

Betting on the TCU Horned Frogs (+7.5)

Record: 9-0 Overall / 6-0 Conference

The Horned Frogs’ offense was too much for Texas Tech, as they unloaded 429 total yards against just 352 from the Red Raiders. Max Duggan showed the way for TCU, as he tossed a couple of touchdowns with zero interceptions on 12/23 completions. His accuracy in the game was nothing to write home about, but in any case, TCU is still an owner of one of the best offenses in the nation.

TCU, which was averaging over 42.1 points per game heading into Week 10, is 3-0 against the spread in its last three games overall.

Betting on the Texas Longhorns (-7.5)

Record: 6-3 Overall / 4-2 Conference

After falling short in a shootout with the Oklahoma State Cowboys in Stillwater, Quinn Ewers and the Longhorns got back up last Saturday to beat No. 13 Kansas State. Ewers threw for 197 yards and two touchdowns without getting picked on 18/31 pass completions, but it was really running back Bijan Robinson who carried the Longhorns on his back. Robinson exploded for 209 rushing yards and a touchdown on 30 carries. He is bad news for TCU’s defense that can be porous against the run.

Texas is 7-3 against the spread in its last 10 games overall.

Writer’s Prediction

TCU wins, 33-28.
