Regular Season Record: 7-6
Tennessee needs to turn things around before it’s too late. The Titans are on a three-game losing skid. In their last game, they lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars at home, 36-22. Prior to that, they bowed down to the Cincinnati Bengals and the Philadelphia Eagles. Tennessee has been shaky, but it is too good of a team to lose four games in a row. Look for the Titans to heavily rely on running back Derrick Henry against the Chargers. Los Angeles often gets shredded on the ground because of its defense which is just 28th in the NFL with 147.0 rushing yards allowed per game.
The Titans, who are fifth in the NFL in rush play percentage, are 5-1 against the spread in their last six road games.
Betting on the Los Angeles Chargers (-3.0)
Regular Season Record: 7-6
Justin Herbert was sensational for the Chargers in Week 15, as he led his team to a 23-17 win over the Miami Dolphins at home. Herbert passed for 267 yards and a touchdown without an interception on 39/51 competitions. Mike Williams’ return has been a huge boost for the Chargers, who will expect the towering wide receiver to come up big again – and he should against the Titans’ whose pass defense is filled with holes. In fact, Tennessee is second-worst in the NFL against the pass, allowing 283.7 passing yards per game. Keenan Allen and pass-catching tailback Austin Ekeler should have fun in this game.
The Chargers are 4-0 against the spread in their last four games after recording more than 250 passing yards in their most recent outing.
