The No. 5 Kansas Jayhawks have control of the top spot in the Big 12 standings but they are far from safe. A loss to the visiting Texas A&M Aggies would put them in a more precarious position, not to mention give them a bad loss in their March Madness resume. Will the Jayhawks defeat Texas A&M? Or will the Aggies get their biggest win of the season so far at the expense of Kansas? Register to bet and wager with your pick.

Betting on the Texas A&M Aggies (13-6)
The Aggies are riding a two-game win streak heading into their huge matchup with No. 5 Kansas, which should give them a nice momentum. Momentum is a dicey advantage to have, but it’s an advantage nonetheless. It takes more than that to defeat Kansas, though the Aggies’ defense appears to be up to the task of cutting the Jayhawks down to size. Texas A&M is giving up just 66.9 points per game with opponents making only 33.8 percent of their shots from the field. Junior center Tyler Davis is the heart and soul of the Aggies. Davis leads the team in points (14.4), rebounds (8.6), and blocks (1.4) per game. Davis and the Aggies’ rebounding is going to be a big key for them, as winning the battle on the boards would help cripple the Jayhawks’ offense. The Aggies are fourth in the nation in that department with 42.0 rebounds per game, while Kansas only gets 36.5.
The Aggies are 5-3 ATS in their last eight games as road underdogs.
Betting on the Kansas Jayhawks (16-3)
As mentioned earlier, the Aggies will likely control the rebounds this Saturday in Lawrence, but the Jayhawks usually don’t let opponents get plenty of rebounds because they are one of the best shooting teams in the nation. In fact, the Jayhawks are 12th overall with an incredible 50.2 field goal percentage, which partly explains why opponents get just 35.6 boards per game against them. The Jayhawks lean on a terrific backcourt tandem that features Devonte Graham and Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk, who supply the team with 18.1 points and 16.1 points per game, respectively. Kansas also have Udoka Azubuike and Lagerald Vick who pump out 14.5 points and 14.1 points per contest. The Jayhawks just have plenty of skilled scorers to keep the Aggies guessing on offense. It’s also hard to play against Kansas because of its range. The Jayhawks are sinking 10.6 three-pointers per game on 41.4 percent shooting from behind the arc.
Kansas is 4-1 SU in last five home games.
Writer’s Prediction:
Kansas tames Texas A&M on its way to a 75-71 win.
