Top 10 College Football National Signing Day Results 2017
#10 – Josh Falo, TE – USC
Four-star tight end Josh Falo will join an already stacked USC passing attack next summer. He announced his commitment to the Trojans with the help of a few other warriors doing the traditional "Haka" dance in a Bleacher Report-produced video.
#9 Levi Jones, LB - USC
Levi Jones was the first domino to fall for the Trojans in another highly-successful National Signing Day. Jones, a four-star linebacker, faked a few teams out with his layered sweater gimmick before finally settling with SC.
#8 - Jay Tufele, DT - USC
Not to be outdone, SC got a five-star defensive lineman of their own with Jay Tufele, who let someone else pick the SC hat for him. Tufele figures to bolster a Trojan front which showed some signs of improvement last season after getting rocked by Alabama in the season opener.
#7 - Devonta Smith, WR – Alabama
Alabama cemented their place atop another No. 1 recruiting class by snagging one of the top receiver prospects in Devonta Smith, who was also one of the Tide’s top priorities on NSD.
#6 - Austin Jackson, OT - USC
Austin Jackson's announcement was short and sweet. Just one hat picked up from under a table: USC. The five-star offensive lineman will be a welcome addition to the Trojan line tasked to protect rising star Sam Darnold.
#5 - K'Lavon Chaisson, DE – LSU
Chaisson’s signing with LSU was the highlight of Ed Orgeron’s first signing day as LSU head coach. Chaisson, a top defensive end prospect, spurned his home state of Texas to geaux to the Tigers, which was a big loss for the Longhorns.
#4 - Joseph Lewis, WR – USC
USC may be losing Juju Smith-Schuster to the NFL, but don’t feel too bad for the Trojans. They snagged five-star receiving prospect Joseph Lewis to fill Juju’s shoes in that Trojan passing attack.
#3 - LaBryan Ray, DE – Alabama
Alabama’s defense hardy needs anymore talent, but they’re getting a ton of talent in five-star defensive end LaByan Ray. Roll Tide, I guess.
#2 - Aubrey Solomon, DT - Michigan
Jim Harbaugh had a great signing day, so mcuh so that he was doing Usher dance moves by the end of it. The fact that five-star defensive tackle Aubrey Solomon chose Michigan over the likes of SEC powers Alabama and Georgia was definitely one of the highlights of his day.
#1 - Marvin Wilson, DT – Florida State
Wilson was the nation’s top uncommitted prospect heading into National Signing Day, and the five-star defensive tackle ended up picking Florida State to form what should be a very scary Seminoles front.
