Spread: Eagles (+7.5) vs. Wildcats (-7.5)

Over/Under: 57.0

Where to watch: ESPN

Doak Walker Award and Heisman Trophy finalist Andre Williams is said to be ready to play in this game. The nation’s top rusher tweaked his shoulder in their last game against Syracuse, but he will look to add to his nation-leading 2,102 rushing yards against Arizona. Meanwhile, the Wildcats also have an explosive running back in Ka’Deem Carey, who isn’t that far behind Williams with 1,716 yards.

2. Hyundai Sun Bowl: Virginia Tech Hokies vs. UCLA Bruins

Over/Under: 47.0

Where to watch: CBS

Virginia Tech had 26 bowl appearances in its program’s history with the first one happening in 1947 in you guessed it, the Sun Bowl. The Hokies look to win it more than 60 years later against the 17th ranked, Jim Mora-coached, Bruins.

Where to watch: ESPN

It’s not the BCS National Championship, but if this is going to be Johnny Manziel’s last game wearing an Aggies uniform, then it’s of paramount interest to him that he leaves the program on a winning note against the Blue Devils, who have been exceeding expectations throughout the season.

5. Brooklyn Nets vs. San Antonio Spurs

Brooklyn was on a spending-spree back in the offseason, but found out that money can’t always buy success. The Nets are hoping to end the year on a positive note against a team that has exemplified how to run a successful team on minimal resources for a long time now.

Spread: Trail Blazers (TBA) vs. Thunder (TBA)

Over/Under: TBA

This game is a powder keg waiting to be lit on New Year’s Eve.  The Blazers have been proving so far that they belong in the upper tier of the NBA and they could add more backing to that claim if they can handle the Thunder on the road. Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant will sure make it a rocky affair for Portland.
