Washington whiffed on a chance to score a huge upset win against the previously slumping Kansas City Chiefs, as the Football Team lost to Patrick Mahomes and company in Week 6 at home, 31-13. The Football Team looked completely outclassed by Kansas City, though that should not indicate that they are going to get blown out by Green Bay in Week 7. Taylor Heinicke passed for just 182 yards and a touchdown with an interception against Kansas City, but he should keep his hopes up heading into the game against Green Bay. For one, Heinicke is closer to Joe Burrow who lit up Green Bay’s defense with Ja’Marr Chase in Week 5 than to rookie Justin Fields who floundered against the Packers in Week 6. Also, Heinicke has Terry McLaurin, who can be the Chase to his Burrow. McLaurin was silent in the Kansas City game, but he’s still one of the most dangerous receivers in the NFL.
Washington is 4-1 against the spread (ATS) against a team with a winning record.

Regular Season Record: 5-1
The Packers are rolling. They have not lost in all five games since they got shocked in Week 1 by the New Orleans Saints, thanks to the magnificent play of Aaron Rodgers. The future Hall of Famer quarterback terrorized the Chicago Bears in Week 6 by passing for 195 yards and a couple of touchdowns with zero interceptions on 17/23 passes. He also scored a rushing TD. Washington’s defense isn’t as good as it was in 2020. With how Rodgers has the Packers’ offense going, it looks like Green Bay is about to dominate again on that end of the field this Sunday at home. Washington entered Week 6 worst in the league with 31.0 points allowed per game and second-worst with 423.0 total yards surrendered per contest.
The Packers are 5-0 against the spread in their last five games overall.
