John Wall and the Washington Wizards bring their acts to The Land this Thursday, as they look to add a blemish to the Cleveland Cavaliers’ record. Will the Wizards succeed in beating Cleveland in Cleveland? Or will the Cavs embarrass their visitors from the nation’s capital?

Betting on the Washington Wizards (42-35)
The Wizards defeated the Cavs in the teams’ last meeting even without John Wall. Wall was still recuperating from a knee injury when Washington took down the Cavaliers on Feb. 22 in Cleveland, 110-103. Bradley Beal and Tomas Satoransky teamed up in the backcourt, as they came up with 18 and 17 points, respectively, while Kelly Oubre Jr. came off the bench and fired 17 points as well. Beal has been the steady factor in all three meetings this season with the Cavs, as the former Florida Gator hotshot is averaging 27.0 points against the Cleveland this season. Wall, meanwhile, has put up 14.0 points in the first two matchups with LeBron James and company. The three-ball could play a crucial part for the Wizards, who are making 9.9 three-pointers per game this season on 37.2 percent accuracy.
Betting on the Cleveland Cavaliers (47-30)
Cleveland’s loss to the Wizards in February was the Cavs’ first since the trade deadline. Since then, however, the reconfigured Cavs have developed more chemistry, so expect them to play better this time around – hopefully for the team. The one thing that hasn’t changed for the Cavs, however, is LeBron James’ dominance. James has been beasting around for basically an entire season. In his last 10 games, he is averaging 30.9 points on 53.8 percent shooting from the field to go with 10.0 rebounds and 10.0 assists. He’s been better when matched up against the Wizards though. In three dates with Washington, LeBron has posted an average of 36.6 points on a fantastic 58.7 field goal shooting percentage. It’s safe to say that the Wizards do not have what it takes to stop James. He still needs help though, which the four-time MVP could get from Kevin Love, who is making 17.5 points and grabbing 9.3 rebounds per game this season.
Writer’s Prediction:
Washington wins, 107-103.
