The experience of those two will go a long way for the Shockers, who are also banking on their defense to make a big difference. Team Weaknesses:

Arguably the most obvious problem of Wichita State is depth. The Shockers are too reliant on Baker and VanVleet, who are the only players on the team that averages in double figures scoring. Landry Shamet would’ve been a nice source of peripheral points but him being out for the season with an injury leaves Wichita State with just one player not named Baker or VanVleet averaging at least 8.0 PPG.
