Recap: In what would be the first of many Pro Bowl games held in Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii, the 1980 edition of the NFL all-star game saw the NFC beat the AFC, 37-to-27. It was also the first time the Pro Bowl game was played in a non-NFL city and now is the traditional venue for the game. The NFC led 23-to-10 at half time and never looked back led by New Orleans Saints running back Chuck Muncie who was named the MVP. Muncie rushed 12 times and had a total of 79 yards and 2 touchdowns.
