Recap: In what was a low-scoring affair, the 1987 Pro Bowl featured good defense from both squads with the AFC edging out the NFC, 10-to-6 for the win. The AFC scored 10 points by halftime and limited the NFC to a scoreless half. After the break it was the turn of the NFC’s defense to impress as they also limited the AFC to a scoreless final two quarters. However, the NFC only managed a pair of field goals to give the AFC the victory. Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Reggie White had four sacks and seven tackles and was named the MVP.
