Recap: The 1991 Pro Bowl saw a nip-and-tuck fourth quarter and the game was decided only in the final possession. With the score at 14-to-6 in favor of the NFC, the AFC attempted a comeback starting with a touchdown pass from Buffalo Bills quarterback Jim Kelly to cut down the lead 13-to-14. The NFC responded with a touchdown however behind a 22-yard touchdown run from Detroit Lions Barry Sanders to put the score at 21-to-13 for the NFC. The AFC would not go away though, as they scored a field goal and Kelly once again found the end zone to grab the lead, 23-to-21. The NFC had a chance to retake the lead, but their field goal attempt from 46 yards was blocked to give the AFC the victory. Kelly had 13-of-19 passes for 210 yards and 2 TDs.
