Recap: In the 1998 Pro Bowl, there was fighting and there was a veteran leading his team to the victory and himself to an MVP award. The game saw two players– San Francisco 49ers guard Kevin Gogan and Denver Broncos defensive end Neil Smith– get ejected after a fight, the first in Pro Bowl history (since erger) The player of the game honors went to a then 41-year-old Warren Moon, quarterback from the Seattle Seahawks, as he connected on 4-of-8 passes with 89 yards in leading the AFC to a 29-to-24 defeat of the NFC.
