Recap: A year removed from their Super Bowl loss, the Dallas Cowboys bounced back in a big way by defeating the Miami Dolphins, 24-to-3. Rushing for 252 yards and limiting their opponents to 185 yards, the Cowboys completely dominated the Dolphins on both ends of the field. For the first time in the Super Bowl history, a team did not record a touchdown.
BET ON SPORTSQuarterback Roger Staubach, who was named the Super Bowl VI MVP, had 12-of-19 passes for 119 yards and 2 TDs. Running backs Duane Thomas had a total of 112 yards (19 carries, 3 receptions) and Walt Garrison had 85 yards (14 carries, 2 receptions) to help the Cowboys.
