Tillman (10-1, 3.52 ERA) is coming off a forgettable start, yielding six earned runs on 10 hits in five innings of an 8-6 home loss to the Rays on June 25. The M’s counter with Taijuan Walker (3-6, 3.45 ERA), who had a solid showing in his previous start. Walker held Boston scoreless for five innings, albeit in a 2-1 loss at Fenway Park on June 19. Seattle is 5-5 in its last 10 home games.
