Boston Celtics vs. Atlanta Hawks (7:00 PM)
Line: Boston Celtics (+6) vs. Atlanta Hawks (-6); total: 205.5 – view all NBA lines
Boston might play minus one key piece when the Celtics take on Atlanta for Game 2 of their first-round series later tonight. That’s Avery Bradley, who suffered a hamstring injury during Boston’s 102-101 Game 1 loss. Nevertheless, the Celtics have other players who can pick up the slack, as they have seven total players who averaged at least 9.0 points per game back in the regular season. Atlanta, meanwhile, is counting on Al Horford and Jeff Teague to deliver. The duo combined for 47 points in Game 1. The Celtics are 6-4 ATS in their last 10 games in Atlanta. The Hawks are 4-0 SU in their last four at home.Writer’s Prediction
Atlanta (-6) wins, 102-99.
St. Louis Blues vs. Chicago Blackhawks (9:30 PM)
Line: St. Louis Blues (+140) vs. Chicago Blackhawks (-160); total: 5.0– view all NHL lines
The Blackhawks’ backs are against the wall right now with St. Louis leading their first-round series matchup, 2-1. Chicago will try to tie the series again later tonight at home before the series moves back to St. Louis. The Hawks are 2-2 in their last four games at United Center. The Blues will rely on the hot goaltending of Brian Elliott, who stopped 44 of the 46 shots he faced in the Blues’ 3-2 win in Game 3. St. Louis is 4-1 in its last five games in Windy City.
Writer’s Prediction
Chicago (-160) wins, 2-1.
