The Detroit Lions gave up a 60 yard field goal to Tucker and the Ravens on Monday Night, and Matt Stafford’s subsequent pick on the first play of the following drive cost them their spot in the current playoff picture. They’re currently on the outside looking in and priced at +5,000 — a sizeable leap up from their price of +4,000 last week.

The most interesting situation in Week 16 is going down in the NFC, and the East specifically, where the Cowboys (+6,000) can pull ahead of the Eagles in the division with a win against the Redskins, but only if the Eagles lose to the Bears later that night.

A Boys win and an Eagles loss would mean a winner-take-all game between the two in Week 17, and what an exciting way that would be to wrap things up in the NFC East.

Elsewhere, the Panthers and Saints are meeting up for a crucial game in Carolina this weekend. The Saints currently have the edge in the head-to-head tie breaker, but if the Panthers can pull off a win at home where they have been close to unbeatable, they’ll gain the divisional lead.

It should also be noted that the 49ers can clinch with a win against the Falcons on Monday.

If the stars align for the Cowboys and they make it into the playoffs, a futures bet this week has the potential for a huge payout. Head over to the sportsbook now to place your NFL futures bets while playoffs spots are still up for grabs.
