EXPERT WINNER
Helen Ross Brandt Snedeker
Rob Bolton Brandt Snedeker
Jonathan Wall Brooks Koepka
Sean Martin Brandt Snedeker
Brian Wacker Justin Thomas
D.J. Piehowski Brooks Koepka
Mike McAllister Brooks Koepka
Tom Werme Billy Hoschel
John Swantek Justin Thomas
Amanda Balionis Brandt Snedeker

From the panel of 10 golf experts polled by PGATour.com, the two names that came up most frequently were Brandt Snedeker, who received four votes to win this weekend, and Brooks Koepka, who got three votes. It’s not at all surprising, given that both are playing some spectacular golf at the moment.

Snedeker has finished 12th or higher in five of his last seven tournaments, including a string of four consecutive top-10 finishes. He was also a respectable T12 in the recently concluded PGA Championship. Moreover, he’s got a terrific record at Sedgefield, finishing in the top-10 three times in the last six years.

Not to be outdone, Koepka is has made the top-20 in his last six tournaments in a row, including a T5 at Whistling Straits. The 25-year-old, who is currently 16th in the FedEx Cup standings, is having a breakout season in 2015. He won his first career title at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, and is actually the +425 favorite to claim his second at Sedgefield.

Keep an eye out for Justin Thomas, though. The 22-year-old has seven top-10 finishes in 26 events during his rookie year, including two in his last three events. He was picked by two experts to win his first ever tournament, and is priced at +1,350 to do just that.

EXPERT WINNER
Troy Klongerbo Branden Grace

Troy Klongerbo of USGolfTV.com has gone with Branden Grace to take home the Wyndham title. The 27-year-old has yet to win a Tour title since turning pro in 2007, but he’s getting closer than ever this season.

Klongerbo notes the South African’s very close calls this year have come at the biggest tournaments. He finished T4 at the US Open, and third at the recently concluded PGA Championship. After Jason Day got the major monkey off his back at Whistling Straits, Klongerbo has a feeling it’s time for Grace, who is priced at +1,050, to do the same at Sedgefield.

Bleacher Report

EXPERT WINNER
Ben Alberstadt Brandt Snedeker

Ben Alberstadt of Bleacher Report is also going with Snedeker. Alberstadt cites Snedeker’s recent form – which is pretty good – as well as his past performance on the course. Snedeker won the tournament in 2007, although that was one year before it moved to Sedgefield.

Alberstadt also notes that Snedeker’s scrambling ability – he’s No. 5 on Tour in scrambling – will be crucial at Sedgefield. And due to last week’s PGA Championship, the field will be relatively weaker at Sedgefield, which should benefit Snedeker and his search for a second Tour win of the season.
