Finau is still an up-and-comer, which means that he has a lot to do to be recognized by casual fans. Still, Finau makes for a pleasant long shot bet, considering much of the public’s lack of awareness about him. Finau finished T18 at The Open and has a couple of top 15s in two of his past five tournaments. Great things are bound to happen to the 26-year-old pro.
Vijay Singh
When was the last time you thought of Singh? Dude hasn’t been relevant like he used to for some time now, failing to win thus far this season and with only two top 25s to show. However, you just don’t discount a legend who has won 34 PGA Tour events in his career. Singh didn’t make the cut at The Open, but placed second in his previous tournament, the Quicken Loans National.
Currently ranked 53rd in the FedEx Cup, Summerhays comes into the Glen Abbey on a nine-start streak of having made the cut. Summerhays finished just T59 at The Open and while that wasn’t something to be proud of, at least the Utah native made it to the weekend. Summerhays also has a couple of top 25 finishes in his previous three starts.
