Betting on the Los Angeles Clippers (43-26)
The Clippers are almost guaranteed of a spot in the playoffs, but they haven’t looked like a title contender over their last few games. They’ve lost five of their last seven contests, including humiliating defeats to the injury-ravaged Grizzlies (113-102) and a Pelicans team (109-95) that featured Luke Babbit in the starting unit. The loss to New Orleans highlighted the Clips’ rebounding problem. The Pelicans grabbed 59 boards as against LA’s 47. That kind of mediocre rebounding wouldn’t help LA slow down the high-flying Warriors. In any case, DeAndre Jordan should remain an imposing rebounder and rim protector against Golden State later tonight. Jordan has averaged 12.0 points, 14.7 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks in three meetings with the Warriors thus far this season. Jordan even had a monster double-double of 16 points and 21 rebounds to go with two blocks in a 115-112 loss to Golden State on February 20.
Limiting Golden State’s three-point baskets, however, is a main concern for LA. The Warriors have made 12.3 threes in three matchups with the Clippers. But if the Clips can’t defend against the three, they could neutralize the effect of Golden State’s outside shooting by giving the Warriors a taste of their own medicine. The Clippers are seventh in the league with 9.8 treys per game on 46.2 percent shooting.
The Clippers are 2-0 ATS in their last two games at Oracle Arena.

Betting on the Golden State Warriors (63-7)
Like so many other teams, the Clippers have played the role of Golden State’s punching bag. Confidence shouldn’t be a problem for the Warriors later tonight, as they’ve beaten the Clippers three times already this season. That being said, their win over Minnesota on Monday is far from the usual landslide manner they beat opponents.
Stephen Curry scored 19 points but went just 6-for-17 from the field and 2-for-9 from the three-point region. Klay Thompson, meanwhile had 17 points with five threes, but missed all of his nine two-point attempts. Curry’s not himself over the last two games, wherein he averaged just 16.5 points and sank just three total threes. A game at home, however, may just be what Curry needs to regain his touch. He’s averaging 27.9 points and 5.1 three-pointers at home this season.
Up against Los Angeles’ sputtering defense of late, the Warriors may very well go berserk on offense anew. The Clippers have allowed 109.3 points over their last three games, which is a salivating figure for Golden State’s offense that is putting up 115.3 PPG on 48.8% shooting.
Golden State is 4-1 ATS in its last five home games.
