Kontaveit doesn’t have much to show so far in her pro career, though there’s plenty of time for her to put hardwares on her trophy case. The 21-year-old Estonian can begin doing that in Rosmalen, where she’s competing in the 2017 edition of the Ricoh Open.

Having said that, she’s reached the third round of last year’s edition of the Wimbledon, beating Jelena Ostapenko and Mona Barthel in the first two rounds before losing in straight sets to no. 5 Simona Halep. Bertens has one WTA singles title to date this 2017, thanks to her topping the field in the Nuremberg Cup. Bertens is currently the top ranked Dutch woman player.
Natalia Vikhlyantseva
Vikhlyantseva has recorded an upset earlier this year. How about another won at the Ricoh Open? Vikhlyantseva was only a wildcard entry at the St. Petesburg Ladies Trophy tournament earlier this year, but managed to rack up three-straight victories to gain a place in the semis.
Along the way, Vikhlyantseva upset no.8 seed Daria Kasatkina in the second round before earning a walkover from Halep. She lost in the semis to Kristina Mladenovic but not before giving the latter a run for her money in a 6-4, 2-6, 2-6 loss.
