The LA Rams are turning heads with a 3-1 start and look to maintain their position on the top of the NFC West over the Seattle Seahawks who are split 2-2. The Rams are especially ramped up after a big 35-30 victory over the Dallas Cowboys as five-point road underdogs in Week 4, and now find themselves as oh-so slight favorites against the Seahawks for the first time in six seasons.

Betting on the Seattle Seahawks 2-2 (+1.5)
Sure, Seattle may have won 75% of the past meetings with Los Angeles straight up, and the team is still favored to win the division in spite of early season offensive struggles. But the Rams have been in surprisingly good form, and they are perceived to have a slight edge going into the day’s game.
But we are sniffing out a turning point here in Week 5, especially when you consider Week 4 where the Seahawks spanked the Colts 46-18. Seattle blew up the scoreboard for 36 points in the second half and are looking to carry that momentum into this Sunday’s meeting.
Betting on the Los Angeles Rams 3-1 (-1.5)
Speaking of momentum, the Rams have got it. Their offense has been on point, with an impressive average of 35.5 points through to the conclusion of Week 4. They rank fifth in the league in total offense with a total average of 383.3 yards, so it seems that Seattle will have a major hurdle to face on the defensive side. The Rams have also covered three of the last four games this season.
Writer’s Pick:
While the Los Angeles Rams lead the NFL in scoring and the Seahawks have had serious issues against the run, Seattle will get back to playing Seahawks-esque defense here in Week 5 as Russell Wilson will get the better of the Rams defense. Seattle wins and covers.
