At long last, the Warriors are going to play their last game of the regular season. The Warriors look so bored down the stretch. They know they’re going to make the playoffs as a No. 2 seed regardless of what happened late in the season, and now will be the last chance for them to have a tuneup for the postseason. The Warriors have lost their last two meetings with Utah, which means they have an excellent motivation to win this Tuesday to prevent the Jazz from stashing more confidence in case the two teams meet in the playoffs. The Warriors lost to Utah on Mar. 25 at home, 110-91, though Golden State did not have Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, Stephen Curry, and Draymond Green in that game, so there’s not much to glean from that contest for Warriors bettors. This time around though, all of the Warriors’ all-stars except Curry are expected to play against the Jazz. Still, check back on players’ updates as the Warriors might just opt to rest their key players.

Donovan Mitchell has clearly proven himself as one of the best, if not the best, rookies this season with his fantastic play in his first year in the league. He will finish the season as the Jazz’s leader in points, as he is currently pacing the team with 20.5 points on 43.8 field goal shooting percentage. When the Jazz defeated Golden State last March in Oakland, Mitchell top scored for his team with 21 points, but also got plenty of help from the likes of Rudy Gobert and Joe Ingles, who had 17 and 14 points, respectively. Gobert is not going to score as many points as Mitchell, but his presence in the middle will be a huge part of the Jazz’s attempt in containing Golden State’s offense. Gobert has averaged 2.5 blocks in the two games he’s played this season against the Warriors. The Jazz are second in the league in defense with only 110.1 points allowed per game. They have held the Warriors to only 97.0 points this season.

Writer’s Prediction:

Utah wins, 108-101.
