Betting on the Georgia Bulldogs

The Bulldogs are still undefeated. That’s after they staved off the Vanderbilt Commodores last Saturday, 41-13. As what the score clearly underlines, Georgia’s offense was humming against Vandy. Bulldogs quarterback Jake Fromm hurled the ball for 276 yards with three touchdowns and zero interceptions on 17-of-23 completions. With Fromm as the team’s biggest driving force on offense, Georgia has managed to rank ninth in the nation with 42.4 points per game and 19th in total offense with 480.6 yards per contest. The Tigers can be a handful to deal with when they’re on defense, but Fromm can get help from a robust Georgia backfield that is tops in the SEC in rushing yards with 245.2 rushing yards per game.
The Bulldogs played so well against Vanderbilt that they were able to cover their huge 26.0-point spread as a home favorite. Georgia is 8-2 SU and 7-3 ATS in its last 10 road games dating back to 2016.
Betting on the LSU Tigers

The Tigers came to Gainesville last Saturday riding a huge wave of momentum, thanks to a five-game win streak. That binge of success, however, was ended by the Florida Gators, which handed LSU a 27-19 loss. Now looking to recover from their first loss of the season, the Tigers will hope to improve their immaculate 3-0 SU home record when they take on Georgia. Against the Gators, LSU had trouble solving Florida’s defense, as the Tigers committed three turnovers, two coming from picks thrown by quarterback Joe Burrow. Those are the first interceptions thrown this season by Burrow, so it’s fair to expect that he’ll have a cleaner performance this coming Saturday in Baton Rouge. Prior to the Florida game, Burrows had 292 passing yards and three passing touchdowns in a 45-16 home win over Ole Miss on Sep. 29.
The Tigers are 4-2 ATS in their last six games as the home team.
