Betting on the LSU Tigers (odds)

Record: 12-13 Overall/1-11 Conference

The freefall continues for LSU. The Tigers are on a 12-game losing streak now following their 74-62 home loss to the Texas A&M Aggies last Saturday. Adam Miller paced the Tigers with 18 points in the Texa A&M game while KJ Williams chipped in just five points. Williams’ production was extremely missed by LSU. After all, he entered the game as the Tigers’ leading scorer this season, as he was averaging 16.0 points heading into Saturday. Williams and Miller have to click at the same time if the Tigers are to stop their losing skid this Tuesday. LSU’s not known for 3-point shooting, but the Tigers have just drained at least 10 threes in two of their last four outings.

The Under is 3-0 in LSU’s last three games.

Betting on the Georgia Bulldogs (odds)

Record: 15-10 Overall/5-7 Conference

Georgia did not have to wait for this upcoming meeting with the Tigers to end a losing skid, as the Bulldogs took down the Kentucky Wildcats at home on Saturday. The Bulldogs lose three games in a row before facing Kentucky and are 2-3 straight up in their last five outings. Junior guard Kario Oquendo led Georgia with 21 points versus Kentucky. He went just 5/15 from the field but he was 10/12 from the free-throw line. In any case, Oquendo and the Bulldogs should be salivating over the prospect of taking on LSU’s barely existent defense.

Georgia is 3-0 against the spread in its last three games as the home team versus the Tigers, dating back to 2018.

Writer’s Prediction

Georgia wins, 74-68.
