The Nebraska Cornhuskers got their first conference win last week, and they are hoping to get another one this coming Saturday. That’s going to be easier said than done, though, as they are set to square off with the undefeated Ohio State Buckeyes, whose high-octane offense has yet to be solved by an opponent.

Betting on the Ohio State Buckeyes (4-0 Overall / 1-0 Conference)
To say that the Buckeyes destroyed the Miami (OH) Redhawks at home last Saturday would be a massive understatement. Ohio State played the Redhawks like they hurt one of the Buckeyes’ friends. Justin Fields went 14 for 21 for 223 passing yards and four touchdowns and zero interceptions. Moreover, he rushed for 36 yards and a couple of rushing scores on nine carries. Overall, the Buckeyes had 227 rushing yards and four touchdowns in a 76-5 (not a typo) home win over Miami (OH). Nebraska is more than likely to put up a stronger resistance to the Buckeyes’ offense that entered Week 4 ranked 11th in the nation with 46.0 points per game and 29th with 499.0 total yards per contest. However, it’s also the same Nebraska defense that had 375 passing yards in a 34-31 win over the Cornhuskers. Then there’s the Buckeyes’ defense that has been just as good as the offense, statistically. The Buckeyes ranked seventh in the nation going into Week 4 with just 10.3 points allowed per game.
The over is 3-1 in the Buckeyes’ last four games on the road.

How about them Cornhuskers? Nebraska pulled off a come-from-behind win on Saturday over the Illinois Fighting Illini on the road, outscoring their opponents in the final quarter, 15-3, on their way to a 42-38 victory. Quarterback Adrian Martinez led the Cornhuskers with 327 passing yards and three touchdowns on 22 of 34 completions. He also went wild on the ground with 118 rushing yards on 18 carries. Martinez isn’t going to be intimidated by Ohio State. After all, he played well in last year’s 36-31 road loss to the Buckeyes in which he had 266 passing yards and a touchdown and zero interceptions. He did more damage on the ground by rushing for 72 yards and two scores on 2 carries. Martinez is going to be the barometer for the Cornhuskers against Ohio State along with what the team can do defensively. Nebraska entered Week 4 41st in the nation with 21.0 points allowed per game.
The Cornhuskers are 3-1 against the spread (ATS) in their last four home games.
