Dallas Cowboys vs New York Giants Predictions, Picks, Odds, and Betting Preview – NFL Week 9 – November 4 2019

The Dallas Cowboys grabbed solo lead atop the NFC East after defeating the Philadelphia Eagles two weeks ago. They will look to maintain their position when they square off with Daniel Jones and the New York Giants, who are still hoping to make noise in the division. The Cowboys and the Giants are +800 and +50000 to win the NFC title, respectively. Going into this Monday Night Football matchup, the sportsbook favors the visiting team by 7-points.

Betting on the Dallas Cowboys (4-3)

The Cowboys sent themselves into a Week 8 bye on a positive note, stopping a three-game skid by thumping the Philadelphia Eagles in a 37-10 home win back in Week 7. Quarterback Dak Prescott went 21 for 27 for 239 yards and a touchdown against an interception and also ran for another score. Running back Ezekiel Elliott rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries. Based on the two teams’ encounter this season, Prescott could be in for another solid performance. Prescott had 405 passing yards and four touchdowns with zero interceptions in Dallas’ 35-17 home win over the Giants back in Week 1. The Giants haven’t exactly gotten better defensively, so Prescott must be excited to face them again.

The Cowboys, who are confident they’ll have key defensive pieces in Robert Quinn and Leighton Vander Esch ready to go in Week 9, are 4-3 against the spread (ATS) in their last seven games.

Betting on the New York Giants (2-6)

The Giants remain a two-win team after losing their fourth-straight game, falling prey to the Detroit Lions on the road last Sunday, 31-26. Despite the loss, the Giants must be feeling better about their future with Daniel Jones under center. The rookie quarterback passed for 322 yards and four touchdowns without an interception while completing 28 of 41 passes. It’s the type of confidence-boosting performance that could further elevate Jones’ level of play. Jones isn’t new to facing the Cowboys. He saw limited snaps in the Week 1 meeting, going 3 for 4 for 17 yards. The Jones that Dallas will deal with this Sunday is a much better version than the one they faced several weeks ago. Running back Saquon Barkley had 120 rushing yards on 11 carries in the loss to Dallas.

The under is 4-0 in the Giants’ last four home games.

Writer’s Prediction

The Cowboys win, 28-22.
