The Los Angeles Rams went from being the NFC’s representative in the Super Bowl last season to not even making the playoffs this season. That’s a harsh reality the Rams are dealing with right now. They can’t let their situation go any worse by losing to the Arizona Cardinals at home in Week 17, so expect them the Rams to be on their toes in this game. As for the Cardinals, they are looking to score one more upset win before Year One of The Kyler Murray Experience ends.

Betting on the Arizona Cardinals (5-9-1)
The Cardinals might still be sporting a black eye after the beating they absorbed at the hands of the Rams in Week 13, when Arizona took a 34-7 loss. That being said, don’t say that the Cardinals are without any momentum heading into the rematch with Los Angeles. For one, they just pulled off a 27-13 upset road win over the playoff-bound Seattle Seahawks in Week 16. That win had a lot to do with running back Kenyan Drake, who’s been a man possessed over the last two weeks. Drake had 166 rushing yards and two touchdowns in 24 carries against the Seahawks. Prior to that, he exploded for 137 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 22 carries in the win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 15. Drake, however, didn’t seem to be part of God’s plan to have a good game in the loss to the Rams in which he only rushed for 31 yards on 13 carries. But with how he’s been playing of late, Drake can’t be counted out, especially after the Rams just allowed 119 rushing yards and two touchdowns in last Sunday’s loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
The Cardinals are 2-0 against the spread (ATS) in their last two games.
Betting on the Los Angeles Rams (8-7)
The Rams just want to finish their utterly disappointing 2019 campaign with a victory — and not on a losing skid. The Rams have lost their last two games: a 44-21 beating at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys in Week 15 and a 34-31 loss to the Niners last Sunday. Against San Francisco, Jared Goff went 27 for 46 for 323 passing yards and two touchdowns with an interception, while Todd Gurley only had 48 rushing yards but managed to score two rushing scores on 15 carries. The Rams scoring more than 30 points against one of the best defensive teams in the NFL should come as a warning for the Cardinals, whose defense was torched by the Rams in the previous meeting. Goff had 424 passing yards and two touchdowns in the win over the Cardinals, while Gurley had a score and 95 rushing yards on 19 carries. The Cardinals are 28th in the NFL with 27.4 points allowed per contests and 31st in total defense with 400.5 total yards surrendered per game.
The Rams are 3-1 ATS in their last four games.
Writer’s Prediction
The Rams win, 33-20.
