Austin Reaves, meanwhile, had 16 points. Oklahoma dominated the rebounding battle in that game, as it came away with 36 boards to just 26 by Kansas. Oklahoma is 51st in the nation with 77.5 points per game and 83rd with 66.6 points allowed per contest. One of the best features of this Sooners team is its ball security. Oklahoma is 11th overall in the nation with just 10.3 turnovers per game and eighth with just a 12.8 turnover percentage.

After losing to the Texas Tech Red Raiders at home on Jan 13, 79-77, Texas rebounded and destroyed the lowly Kansas State Wildcats in Lawrence last Saturday to the tune of an 82-67 score. Four Texas starters scored in double figures, led by Andrew Jones, who had 19 points and six rebounds. The Longhorns shot 52.5 percent from the field in the Kansas State game and also hit 12 3-pointers. Texas has been shooting well from deep of late, as they have drained a total of 25 threes on 56 attempts over the last two games. They also have four games this season in which they knocked down at least 10 triples. Texas is averaging 76.2 points per game, while allowing 65.2 points per contest. Per KenPom, Texas is eighth in the nation with 89.6 points allowed per 100 possessions.
