The 2021 NFL Draft is one of the most anticipated in recent memory. A big reason for that is because of the quarterback talent in this current batch of prospects. Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, Mac Jones, Justin Fields, and Trey Lance are generally expected to get picked inside the top 10. Will that be the case, though? With that said, here are predictions of three experts for how the first 10 picks of the 2021 NFL Draft will unfold.

Sporting News (Vinnie Iyer)
The NFL Draft can be full of surprises but the closest to a sure thing about it is Trevor Lawrence getting selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars, which is exactly what Vinnie Iyer and a lot of experts out there are expecting to happen. The Jags are in dire need of a franchise quarterback. Gardner Minshew is simply not that player despite all the coolness of his mustache. With a new coach in Urban Meyer and Lawrence under center, there is so much hope in Jacksonville that the team is finally going to be a consistent threat at least in the AFC South for years to come.

NFL.com (Rhett Lewis)
The first three picks in NFL.com’s Rhett Lewis are pretty much the same as what you’d find in others. Lawrence is going to be a Jag, the New York Jets will spend a high pick on Zach Wilson, and Mac Jones packing his bag for the West Coast. It’s interesting to see whether the Carolina Panthers will actually get a defensive player at No. 8 should someone like Justin Fields is available at that spot. Sure, the Panthers just traded for Sam Darnold, but it could be very tempting to get Fields if the Ohio State product is still on the board.

Walter Football
Walter Football is among the many who thinks that the Denver Broncos will draft Fields. Drew Lock has been wildly inconsistent under center for the Broncos, who could be looking for a future replacement for him in this draft. And what a talent they would have if indeed the Broncos go for Fields, who was electric in the field in his last season for the Ohio State Buckeyes in 2020. Walter Football even mentioned that Fields is being compared to Deshaun Watson, as both are athletic dual-threat quarterback.
