FAVORITES

Webb Simpson (+1400)

Simpson remains in pursuit of a win this season, but his chances are looking good this week. He is 2 of 2 in his last two starts, which feature a T19 in The Open Championship 2021 followed by a T15 in the World Golf Championships-FedEx St. Jude Invitational 2021. He’s also been a strong performer at Sedgefield Country Club. Simpson, in fact, is a former winner of the Wyndham Championship, topping the field in the 2011 version of the tournament. He has also finished inside the top three in each of his last four starts at Sedgefield Country Club.

Patrick Reed (+2500)

Reed has made the cut in all of his last three worldwide starts, including a T22 in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. He then followed that up with a T31 in the World Golf Championships-FedEx St. Jude Invitational 2021. He has a win this season, thanks to his fantastic performance in the Farmers Insurance Open 2021 back in January. On the season, Reed has six top 10s and 13 top 25s to go with 17 made cuts in 22 starts.

Louis Oosthuizen (+2200)

Oosthuizen has yet to miss a cut THIS YEAR. The last time he missed the boat to the weekend was way back in RSM Classic in November 2020. And that remains as his only missed cut this season. That being said, victory has been elusive for the South African, as he has yet to finish first this season. Nevertheless, he has four runner-up finishes and eight top 10s.

HIGH-VALUE SLEEPERS

Will Zalatoris (+2500)

Ranked 30th in the world right now, Zalatoris is going to need to win in the 2021 Wyndham Championship if he wants to make it to the playoffs. After withdrawing from The Open Championship 2021 because of a back issue, he returned to action and finished with a T8 in the World Golf Championships-FedEx St. Jude Invitational.

Si Woo Kim (+4000)

Ranked 54th in the world as of this writing, Kim should be a sneaky good pick this week to win the Wyndham Championship 2021. He has won this event before (2016) and also made it to the top five in his last two starts at Sedgefield Country Club.

LONG SHOTS

Patton Kizzire (+7000)

Kizzire is only ranked 110th in the world, but he’s been playing steadily of late. He is 3 of 3 in his last three starts, though he hasn’t played since finishing with a T39 in the 3M open 2021.

Ryan Armour (+11000)

Armour has missed the cut in three of his last five starts, but that stretch also saw him finish with a T5 in the Barbasol Championship 2021 and a T6 in the 3M Open 2021.

Writer’s Prediction

Louis Oosthuizen wins the 2021 Wyndham Championship
