Betting on the Buffalo Bills (-4.5)

Regular Season Record: 6-4

The Bills couldn’t stop Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor in Week 11’s 41-15 home loss — Buffalo-’s second in three games — but at least that nightmare is over. Buffalo has a bit of an excuse for that letdown defensive performance, as the team was missing Star Lotulelei and Tremaine Edmunds for various health reasons, making it easier for Carson Wentz and company to dissect Buffalo’s stop unit. But the Bills could also be getting those two back in Week 12, and that’s not good news for the Saints. But New Orleans might be more worried about the Bills’ offense that is definitely looking to rebound. Josh Allen threw two touchdowns but had a pair of picks against Indianapolis, but that stinky performance shouldn’t dim his outlook against New Orleans’ defense that has allowed at least 27 points in three of the Saints’ last four games.

The Bills are 5-4-1 against the spread in their last 10 games overall.

Betting on the New Orleans Saints (+4.5)

Regular Season Record: 5-5

The Saints suffered their third straight loss on Sunday, as they fell prey to the Philadelphia Eagles on the road to the tune of a 40-29 score. Trevor Siemian made another start and finished the game with 214 passing yards and three touchdowns with a couple of interceptions on 22/40 interceptions. He needs to be better, to say the least, in order for New Orleans to save its season. Or the Saints could make a switch under center and start Tayson Hill. The Saints look like a team that needs to think about making such a change. Running back Alvin Kamara has missed the last two games with a knee issue, and his availability outlook for Thursday doesn’t seem good. If he can’t go again, Mark Ingram will once again carry most of the load for New Orleans’ rushing attack. Ingram is no Jonathan Taylor, but he surely is seeing an opportunity to put up a great showing against the Bills’ defense that just got absolutely roasted last Sunday.

The Saints are 6-3-1 against the spread in their last 10 games at home.
