Betting on the Jacksonville Jaguars (+7)

Regular Season Record: 1-1

Almost every time when the Jags pull off a win is a surprise. In Week 3, they stunned the NFL with a 24-0 shutout of the Indianapolis Colts at home. Trevor Lawrence looked every bit a former first-overall pick in that game, passing for 25/30 for 235 yards (2 touchdowns, 0 INT), while Christian Kirk finished with 78 receiving yards on six catches, including the two touchdown lobs by Lawrence. The question for the Jaguars is whether they can sustain their form against the Chargers. If anything, Jacksonville’s defense might be dealing with a less-than-100% Justin Herbert who was banged up hard in Week 3.

The Under is 6-4 in the Jags’ last 10 games overall.

Bet on the Jacksonville Jaguars

Betting on the Los Angeles Chargers (-7)

Regular Season Record: 1-1

Justin Herbert is reportedly day to day after suffering a fractured rib in Week 2’s 27-24 road loss to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. If he can’t go, the Chargers will turn to backup Chase Daniel for the starting gig under center against the Jags. Whichever quarterback gets the nod to play Sunday will have Mike Williams downfield. Williams exploded for 113 receiving yards and a touchdown on eight catches and 10 targets. Keenan Allen could also be back after missing Week 2 with a hamstring injury. He could have played against the Chiefs if it weren’t for a short turnaround from Week 1.

The Chargers are 3-1 against the spread in their last four games overall.
