The Vanderbilt Commodores are on a two-game losing skid. After losing to the Alabama Crimson Tide in Week 4 then a bye in Week 5, the Commodores suffered a 55-28 home loss at the hands of the Ole Miss Rebels. The Georgia Bulldogs are going to be a tough challenge for Vanderbilt, to say the least. The reigning national champions are undefeated and have just took down the Auburn Tigers at home Saturday to the tune of a 42-10 score. Betting on the Vanderbilt Commodores (+38.0)

Despite the loss to Ole Miss, Commodores quarterback AJ Swann did have a decent outing against the Rebels. Swann had 281 passing yards and two touchdowns with zero interceptions on 27/38 completions. They even outscored the high-scoring Ole Miss in the second period, 17-14. It’s all going to be about moving the chains early for Vanderbilt and avoiding turnovers against the powerful Bulldogs. That is going to be easier said than done for the Commodores, but it would help them if they get some extra possessions off turnovers. The Commodores have a great 15-game streak of at least a takeaway, dating back to last season.
The Over is 7-3 in Vanderbilt’s last 10 games overall.
Betting on the Georgia Bulldogs (-38.0)
Record: 6-0 Overall / 3-0 Conference
Even without star defensive tackle Jalen Carter, the Bulldogs got the job done in Week 6 versus Auburn. Georgia’s defense held the Tigers down to just 258 total yards and only 93 rushing yards. Stetson Bennett was decent but not great, passing for 208 yards on 23/32 completions with zero touchdowns and without an interception. Where Georgia had a ton of success in this game was on the ground, as the Bulldogs scored a total of six rushing touchdowns. They can be as productive there again against Vanderbilt, which entered Week 6 just 111th in the nation with just 4.9 rushing yards allowed per carry.
The Under is 8-2 in Georgia’s last 10 games.
