Joe Mixon was a one-man wrecking crew the last time he took to the field, rushing for four touchdowns and catching another in the win over Carolina. He had 153 rushing yards on 22 carries in that contest and 58 receiving yards on four catches and five targets. He did it all for Cincy’s offense, and while it’s unlikely he could explode like that for the second game in a row, he definitely has what it takes to punish Pittsburgh’s defense which is just 27th in the NFL with 371.9 total yards allowed per game. It is also worth monitoring the status of Bengals star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase, who missed Week 9 with a hip issue.
The Bengals are 10-2 against the spread in their last 12 games versus AFC squads
Betting on the Pittsburgh Steelers (+4.5)
Regular Season Record: 3-6
The Steelers have TJ Watt again back in action, so expect Pittsburgh to have a tougher defense on paper this coming weekend in the rematch against the Bengals. In the first meeting with Cincy, Watt had six total tackles and a sack. Overall, the Bengals allowed seven sacks in that game for a loss of 39 yards. Joe Burrow’s pass protection continues to remain lousy, so look for Watt and company to make another big difference again in Week 11. On the season, the Bengals are just 26th in the NFL with an 8.67 percent offensive sack rate.
The Steelers are 5-1-1 against the spread in their last seven home games.
Writer’s Prediction
The Steelers win, 21-17.
