Betting on the New York Giants (+7.5)

Regular Season Record: 9-7-1

For the first time in over a decade, the Giants won a playoff game when they scored a 31-24 upset win on the road against the Minnesota Vikings Sunday in the NFC Divisional Round. The Giants stunned Minnesota with the backfield duo of quarterback Daniel Jones and running back Saquon Barkley taking alternate swings at the Vikings’ defense. Jones went 24/35 for 301 passing yards and two touchdowns with zero interceptions, while Barkley rushed for 53 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries. Jones’ rushing ability also played a huge role, as he burned rubber for 78 rushing yards on 17 carries. Sure, the Giants went 0-2 straight up versus Philly back in the regular season, but New York has the fresher momentum and carries lesser pressure to win on Saturday. Barkley is a talented weapon who can burn any defense in front of him when he gets it going.

The Giants are 8-2 against the spread in their last 10 games away from home.

Bet on the NY Giants

Betting on the Philadelphia Eagles (-7.5)

Regular Season Record: 14-3

It’s a good thing for the Eagles that Jalen Hurts was able to play a game before the playoffs, as he helped Philly to score a 22-16 home win against the Giants, who mostly played backups in that contest. Hurts actually didn’t play well there, passing for 229 yards (0 TDs, 1 INT) on 20/35 completions, but after nearly two weeks of rest, he should be able to come up with a much more efficient and productive play on the field this coming Saturday at home. Plus, he’s still got a stellar supporting cast. AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith could give the Giants the business again. The duo combined for 134 receiving yards and two touchdowns in the Eagles’ 48-22 road win against the Giants back in Week 14. Miles Sanders also went off for 144 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries in that contest.

The Eagles are 6-4 against the spread in their last 10 home games.
