TV Broadcast: ESPN

Betting on the Golden State Warriors (-1.5)

Regular Season Record: 44-38

The Warriors showed signs of life by winning the last two games of this series. They took down Sacramento in Game 3, 114-97, and in Game 4, 126-125, with both games held at Chase Center. Now, the Warriors hit the road again, and while they have always struggled to win games in enemy territory, it might be easier for them this time around with De’Aaron Fox seemingly dealing with a hand injury. So far in the series, the Warriors are averaging 117.3 points on 46.1 percent shooting from the field with 27.8 assists per contest.

The Warriors are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games in which their opponent scored at least 100 points in a previous game.

Betting on the Sacramento Kings (+1.5)

Regular Season Record: 48-34

The Kings get a timely game at home in hopes of stopping the bleeding against the rejuvenated Warriors. As mentioned earlier, Fox is dealing with a hand injury, particularly on his left index finger. He is expected to play, but Sacramento must see others step up, as Fox might not be able to deliver his usual numbers. Fox is averaging 31.5 points in the series, while Malik Monk is putting up 17.5 points per outing. Kevin Huerter has to show up, as he’s generated just 9.0 points on average in the first round. The Kings are 17-8 against the spread in their last 25 games after giving up more than 125 points in their last outing.

Writer’s Prediction

The Kings win, 121-119.
