TV Broadcast: TNT

Betting on the Golden State Warriors (+3.0)

Regular Season Record: 44-38

The Warriors can’t show up in Game 4 with the same effort they had in their 127-97 loss in Game 3 if they are to avoid falling down a 3-0 hole in this series. Golden State shot just 39.6 percent from the field in Game 3 and also committed 19 turnovers. Stephen Curry scored 23 points but was 9/1 from the field. Klay Thompson was 5/14 for only 15 points, while Jordan Pooled went 2/9 for five points. Those guns will have to heat up sooner than later for the Warriors, who are just ninth in the playoffs thus far with a 111.4 offensive rating. Curry and Thompson, nevertheless, are always dangerous and will command attention from the opposing defense regardless of how badly they shot in a prior contest.

The Under is 5-2 in the Warriors’ last seven games after a loss.

Betting on the Los Angeles Lakers (-3.0)

Regular Season Record: 43-39

After a loss in Game 2, the Lakers roared back in Game 3 with a 40-point revenge win against the reigning champions. Anthony Davis had a double-double of 25 points and 13 rebounds, leaving the Lakers wishing again that he will be more consistent in providing such numbers, especially in this series against the Warriors. LeBron James had 21 points and eight assists in Game 3 to help lead Los Angeles, which is doing a fine job defensively as well. In fact, the Lakers are leading all teams in the playoffs with just 105.5 points allowed per 100 possessions. They are also leading the Warriors in the series with 7.7 steals and 6.4 blocks per outing.

The Over is 10-2 in the Lakers last 12 games after a win.

Writer’s Prediction

The Warriors win, 114-112.
