Betting on the Phoenix Suns (11-15)
After a hard-fought 108-101 triumph over the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Phoenix Suns couldn’t keep the momentum going as they fell to the Dallas Mavericks, 104-94, on Monday night. That loss was their second in three games and their 15th of the season. They’ll try to hopefully turn things around at Oracle Arena, where the Golden State Warriors will be waiting for them.
[sc:NBA240banner ]Just a couple of weeks ago, both squads faced off with each other at Talking Stick Resort Arena and it was the Warriors who emerged victorious, 135-116. That said, revenge would be the main theme for the Suns in this one and their dynamic backcourt composed of Brandon Knight and Eric Bledsoe will look to lead them to success.
Knight, however, is coming off a quiet night at Dallas, during which he shot the rock 5-of-11 for a total of 12 points with four rebounds and three dimes. But he should be able to bounce back later, as he’s averaging 20.4 PPG on the through 26 road games this season. Bledsoe, on the other hand, has been on fire lately, posting 24.5 PPG and 7.5 APG in his last four outings. He also had a pretty efficient night in his last encounter with Golden State, going 9-of-14 from the field for 21 points along with seven assists.
Besides these two, the Suns could also expect some extra contributions from their promising swingman in T.J. Warren. He’s averaging 10.6 PPG through 25 games and has finished in double-figures 14 times in that stretch.
The Suns, though, will really have their work cut out for them at the defensive end. They’ll be trying to hold off the Warriors, who are the highest-scoring team in the league (115.3 PPG) and have the NBA’s leading scorer in Stephen Curry (32.3 PPG) on their side.
Phoenix is 3-7 SU and 4-6 ATS in its last 10 road games. Moreover, they’ve also dropped their previous seven contests at Oracle Arena.

Betting on the Golden State Warriors (24-1)
The Golden run may be over, but the season isn’t. The Golden State Warriors, who suffered their first defeat of the season at Milwaukee Saturday night, will now head back to Oakland and unleash their frustrations versus the visiting Phoenix Suns tonight.
Stephen Curry and co. will certainly look to replicate their 19-point win against their division rivals on November 27. During that encounter, the reigning MVP exploded for a game-high of 41 points and dished out eight assists despite turning the ball over six times. His teammate Draymond Green also filled up the stat sheet in that meeting with a triple-double performance of 14 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists under his name.
The Warriors’ key to victory won’t be their offense though; it’ll be their defense that’s allowing 102.2 per game. As long as they manage to prevent the Suns, who are 0-9 this year when scoring below 100 points, from finding a rhythm on offense, they’re bound to win this one.
Meanwhile, the Warriors will continue to miss the services of Harrison Barnes, who is still recovering from a serious ankle injury. But they should be able to manage without Barnes, as Brandon Rush’s been doing a relatively decent job in filling in for him.
Golden State is 6-4 ATS in its previous 10 home games.
