Betting on the Golden State Warriors (44-4)
The Golden State Warriors extended their winning streak to seven games with an impressive 116-95 victory over the New York Knicks on Sunday. It was a fantastic victory by the Warriors who extended their lead in the Western Conference to four games.
To no one’s surprise, it was Klay Thompson who stole the show for the Warriors on Sunday. He led all scorers with 34 points, including going 5-of-6 from the three-point line. The Warriors were red-hot from beyond the arc, nailing 16 of their 29 three-pointers. The Warriors lead the league in three-point shooting this season with an exceptional 42.8 percent clip.
The Warriors now set their sights on a mind-boggling 45-4 start when they face the Washington Wizards tonight. One player who’s expected to step up big time this evening is Draymond Green. He was superb in the game against New York, recording 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists to post his ninth triple-double this season. Green has been tremendous for the Warriors this campaign, averaging 14.6 points, 9.5 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game.
The Warriors are 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS in their last five road games against the Wizards.

Betting on the Washington Wizards (21-25)
Washington’s losing woes show no sign of abating as the Wizards absorbed a humiliating 114-98 defeat to Oklahoma City on Monday. The Wizards simply had no answer for Russell Westbrook who recorded his seventh triple-double this season. It was another disappointing result for the reeling Wizards who have now lost six of their last eight games.
Things are bound to get tougher for the embattled Wizards as standing in their way tonight are the red-hot Golden State Warriors. The defending champions are 22-4 on the road this season. The Wizards have struggled mightily against the Warriors of late, losing eight of their last nine meetings. The Wizards will have their work cut out for them against a Golden State offense that’s averaging a league-best 115.0 points per game this season.
For Washington to pull off the shock victory tonight, it needs to find a way to stop the sizzling Stephen Curry. He averaged 28 points in a pair of wins over the Wizards last season. He has been on fire for Golden State this campaign, averaging a league-best 29.4 points per game this season. Apart from stopping Curry, the Wizards will also need to work on their rebounding. The Thunder totally dominated the Wizards in that department on Monday, 53-27.
The Wizards are 3-6-1 ATS in their last 10 home games.
