The Auburn Tigers must be very eager to return to the court after getting their first loss of the season. Up ahead for them is a date against a rejuvenated Florida Gators team that may be struggling with consistency but an overall dangerous team to face nonetheless. The Tigers and the Gators are +1200 and +3500 to win the national title, respectively.

Betting on the Auburn Tigers (15-1 Overall / 3-1 Conference)
Auburn tasted its first defeat of the season on Wednesday, falling prey to the Alabama Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa, 83-64. It was a bad offensive game for Auburn, which shot justs 31.7 percent from the field and went 7 for 27 from behind the arc. The Tigers missed all of their first 10 attempts from deep and also turned the ball over 21 times. Auburn is averaging 80.9 points per game, which is seventh-highest in the nation even though they are shooting only 31.6 percent on their 3-pointers. Auburn will have to be wiser and more patient in taking its long-range shots, while also continuing to take it had to the basket. The Tigers are second in the nation in free-throw attempts with 25.9 per game.
The under is 7-3 in the Tigers’ last 10 games overall.
Betting on the Florida Gators (11-5 Overall / 3-1 Conference)
Florida recovered from a 91-75 loss to the Missouri Tigers on the road by defeating the Ole Miss Rebels at home last Tuesday, 71-55. Keyontae Johnson spearheaded the Gators’ show of resilience, scoring 15 points on 6-of-7 shooting from the field and grabbing six rebounds, while prized offseason acquisition Kerry Blackshear Jr. had 13 points and nine rebounds. Florida shot well, making 27 of their 50 shots, but could have done better if they weren’t so atrocious from deep, where they shot only 3 for 13. The Gators are having a topsy-turvy season so far with bad losses and great wins over their first 16 games. They have the talent to keep up with any team, with Blackshear, Johnson, and guard Andrew Nembhard, who could all be in the NBA in the future, so this is all about them getting it together. The win over Ole Miss could be the one where the Gators have finally turned a corner.
The over is 4-1 in the Gators’ last five games.
Writer’s Prediction
