Alabama remains unblemished in SEC action as the Crimson Tide scored their 11th straight win to start conference play on Wednesday by beating the Florida Gators at home, 97-69. It was a commanding victory for Alabama, which has also extended its win overall win streak to three games. Auburn is coming off an 83-78 loss to the Texas A&M Aggies in College Station last Tuesday, which followed a 46-43 loss in Knoxville to the Tennessee Volunteers. Wendell Green Jr. shined despite the loss to Texas A&M, as he scored 20 points on 8/18 shooting from the floor while 6-10 center Johni Broome came up with a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds. Those two can keep Auburn afloat and competitive versus Alabama, especially at home, where the Tigers are 11-1 straight up overall this season, thus far. Green is averaging 13.9 points per game this season, while Broome is putting up 13.7 points to go with 9.0 rebounds per outing.
