The 2-1 Baltimore Ravens travel to Heinz Field this weekend in search of their first road win of the year. They’ll face the re-energized Pittsburgh Steelers, who became the first team to stop the Ryan Fitzpatrick Show. Will the Ravens top their bitter rivals? Or will Big Ben and the 1-1-1 Steelers build a bigger momentum with a victory this Sunday at home?
The Ravens are +230 to win the AFC North, while the Steelers are still the favorites to rule the division with a +150 price.

Betting on the Baltimore Ravens (2-1)
After a Week 2 road loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, the Ravens went back home and picked themselves up in a 27-14 win against the Denver Broncos. Joe Flacco had 277 passing yards and a touchdown on 25-of-40 completions. Running back Javorius Allen came through for the team, scoring both of the Ravens’ only touchdowns via air and on the ground. Allen has become a dependable playmaker for the Ravens, but so does free agent acquisition and wide receiver John Brown, who is not Baltimore’s WR1 and yet leads the team with 222 receiving yards to go with a pair of touchdowns. The Ravens have plenty of weapons to help them move the chains, which largely explains why they’re sixth in the NFL in third-down conversions. Pittsburgh’s shaky defense that allows over 410 total yards per game is looking like a sitting duck for Flacco and company.
The Ravens are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against Pittsburgh.
Betting on the Pittsburgh Steelers (1-1-1)
The Steelers were looking like the team that was going to turn Fitzmagic into Fitztragic last Monday, which they did but only in the first half, as they picked off Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick three times in the first two quarters. However, Fitzpatrick still finished with 411 passing yards. The Steelers have to play a more consistent brand of defense to complement their highly potent attack. Their offense is still lethal notwithstanding the continued absence of running back Le’Veon Bell. The Steelers are seventh in the league in scoring offense (29.3), second in total offense (453.3), and second in passing yards (363.3). Ben Roethlisberger just went 30 of 38 for 353 passing yards and three touchdowns with an interception against the Bucs and he could have added more to his stat line if only he wasn’t sacked three times for a loss of 18 yards. Pittsburgh is only 23rd in rushing yards (90.0), but that’s partly because running back James Conner is playing a significant role in the team’s passing attack.
The over is 7-1 in the Steelers’ last eight games.
Writer’s Prediction
Baltimore wins, 24-23.
