The Calgary Stampeders are on top of the CFL right now, as they are the last remaining team without a loss this season. They will look to keep their record without a blemish this Saturday, when they face the BC Lions at home. The Lions are fully rested, as they are coming off a bye, but will that be enough to keep the 6-0 Stampeders from stomping all over them?

Betting on the BC Lions (2-3)
The Lions limped into their bye coming off a 29-25 road loss to Ottawa in Week 6. Despite the loss to the Redblacks, BC quarterback Travis Lulay managed to impress by throwing for 325 passing yards on 19-for-32 completions with two touchdowns and zero interceptions. Running back Brandon Rutley appeared in his first game of the season and rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown on 17 attempts. The Lions dominated the ground attack, as they took advantage of holes on Ottawa’s defense to gain 119 rushing yards compared to only 67 by the Redblacks. The bad news for the Lions is that Rutley suffered an ACL tear in the game. The absence of Rutley should put more pressure on Lulay to orchestrate BC’s offense that ranks fifth in passing and fourth in rushing. The over is 4-1 in BC’s last five road games.
Betting on the Calgary Stampeders (6-0)
Calgary will roll into Saturday’s game at home against BC riding a tsunami of momentum after taking down Saskatchewan last week, 34-22. It was the Stampeders’ sixth win in as many games this season. The Lions do not seem to present that big of an obstacle for Calgary, which should feel very positive of their chances of winning their seventh straight outing. Against the Roughriders, quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell led the Stampeders by passing for 18-for-24 for 187 passing yards with three touchdowns and an interception. Calgary, which is ranked third in the league in passing yards, has three players on the list of top 10 touchdown receivers in wideouts Eric Rogers, Kamar Jorden, and DaVaris Daniels. The three have combined for 10 touchdowns on the season. Calgary is 5-0 SU in its last five home games against BC.
Writer’s Prediction
Calgary wins, 35-21.
