In their last game, the Lions got shut out by the New England Patriots, 29-0. It was embarrassing, to say the least, for Detroit to lose that way to a team quarterbacked by a backup in Bailey Zappe. But even though they got blanked in Week 5, the Lions are still third in the NFL with 28.0 points per game, which speaks a lot about how capable their offense remains. The Lions did not have running back D’ Andre Smith and wide receiver DJ Chark against the Patriots, but both could be back as soon as Week 7.

Regular Season Record: 4-2

Dallas’ loss to the Eagles was a hard pill to swallow, but the Cowboys can still consider themselves lucky for winning four games in a row despite missing Dak Prescott. Speaking of Prescott, he could be back in Week 7 against the Lions, and that’s bad news for Detroit which is the worst in the NFL with 34.0 points allowed per game. Moreover, the Lions are 31st overall with 428.6 total yards surrendered per outing.

The Cowboys are 16-5 against the spread in their last 21 games versus NFC teams.
