The NBA regular season is about to go on a break to give way for the annual All-Star Weekend festivities, but before we get to that, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Chicago Bulls will first play the final game of the season’s first half. Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Chicago Bulls (8:00 PM ET)

Line: Cleveland Cavaliers at Chicago Bulls; total: 201.5view all NBA lines

[sc:NBA240banner ] The Cavaliers are definitely back to their winning ways as they won back-to-back games against the Los Angeles Lakers (120-105) and the Miami Heat (113-93) respectively. Prior to their win over LA, the Cavs’ 12-game win streak was cut by the Indiana Pacers, who dealt them with a 103-99 loss last week.

The Cavs will likely face Chicago tonight minus big man Kevin Love, who suffered an eye injury in the Miami game. The Bulls will also enter tonight’s contest riding on a win streak, as they are 3-0 over their last three games. The Bulls are 3-2 ATS in their last five games. The Cavs are 4-1 SU in their last five road games.

Writer’s Prediction

Cleveland wins, 106-102.

Winnipeg Jets vs. Nashville Predators (8:00 PM)

Line: Winnipeg Jets (+150) at Nashville Predators (-170); total: 5.5view all NHL lines

Following a blockbuster deal that sent the talented but embattled Evander Kane from Winnipeg to the Buffalo Sabres, the Jets will now test their new-look roster against the league-leading Nashville Predators.  The Jets are on a mild two-game win streak, which includes their 2-1 overtime victory over Minnesota in Tuesday.

The Preds are also on an unbeaten run, having won all of their last three games. They are coming off a 3-2 overtime victory against fellow conference leader Tampa Bay. The over is 4-0-1 in the Jets’ last five road games. The under, on the other hand, is 4-0 in the last four Jets-Preds meetings.

Writer’s Prediction

Nashville wins, 3-2.
