Top Bet Games to Bet On

Indianapolis Colts vs. Tennessee Titans (November 14 |8:25 PM ET)

The Colts are coming off a stunning loss at the hands of an underdog St. Louis team. What’s even more surprising was how the struggling Rams, led by a backup quarterback in Kellen Clemens, managed to win by a wide margin. The Rams crushed the AFC South leader, 38-8. [sc:NFL240banner ]

Andrew Luck was caught by St. Louis last Sunday on an off night; He threw three interceptions before being replaced by Matt Hasselbeck.

Despite the loss, Indianapolis remains as the clear-cut best team in the AFC South division, which parades horrible teams like Houston and Jacksonville. The Colts closest competition is Tennessee, which they have defeated in their last three match-ups. They could add one more nail into the coffin of the Titans’ playoff hopes on Thursday with a win at LP Field.

The Colts are 3-0 ATS in their last three games in Tennessee.

Odds: Indianapolis (-3) vs. Tennessee (+3), O/U: 42.5

After stopping their three-game skid with a 28-21 win over St. Louis in Week 9, the Titans appeared to be catching a break, especially considering they had the lowly Jacksonville on their next game. Well, not so fast. Tennessee became the first victim of the Jaguars, who notched their first win of the season, 29-27, over the Titans last Sunday.

In an even gloomier development for Tennessee, the team lost Jake Locker for the rest of the season after suffering a Lisfranc injury to his right foot. Ryan Fitzpatrick will step up in lieu of Locker for the Titans’ home games against Indianapolis on Sunday.

Aside from Fitzpatrick, running back Chris Johnson will also be counted upon more by Tennessee in the aftermath of Locker’s injury. Johnson rushed for 150 yards against the Rams after the team’s bye week, but ran for only 30 yards against Jacksonville last week. Johnson is the Titans’ rushing yards leader with 60.7 a game.

The Titans are 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games versus Indianapolis.

Oklahoma Thunder vs. Golden State Warriors (November 14 |10:30 PM ET)

The duo of Chris Paul and Blake Griffin bested Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook last night as the Thunder saw their winning streak get snapped by the Clippers through a 111-103 loss at the Staples Center.

Durant was in his usual explosive mode, scoring a game high 33 points and pairing it with 10 assists to go along with six rebounds. Westbrook, on the other hand, had a double-double also finishing with 19 points and 10 assists.

Complementing the offense of Durant and Westbrook is Oklahoma City’s solid job on the glass. The Thunder are the second best rebounding team in the NBA with 47.0 boards a game. Serge Ibaka, who got into a scuffle with Griffin and Matt Barnes against the Clippers, is hauling down 10.5 rebounds a game.

The Thunder continue their West Coast trip tonight against Golden State. Oklahoma is 9-1 SU in their last 10 games against the Warriors.

Odds: Oklahoma City (+4.5) vs. Golden State (-4.5), O/U: 208.0

After two straight losses against the Spurs and the Grizzlies, respectively, the Warriors took three days of rest and came out with all guns blazing against Detroit, winning 113-95 last Tuesday.

Stephen Curry scored all of his 25 points in the first three quarters before sitting out completely in the fourth period. David Lee had 17 points and nine rebounds in 27 minutes of action while Andre Iguodala personified the unselfishness of Warriors basketball by dishing out a career-high tying 11 assists.

Golden State’s 25.0 assists per game is fourth best in the league. Against the Pistons, coach Mark Jackson’s boys had 28 assists.

The Warriors are 4-1 SU in their last five home games.
