Mason Rudolph and James Washington were near unstoppable in the Cowboys’ 59-24 season-opening victory over the Tulsa Golden Hurricane last week. They’ll look to feed off of that momentum, as they take on South Alabama later tonight.
Rudolph passed for 303 yards and three touchdowns without shedding an interception on 20 of 24 passing, while Washington reeled in six catches for 145 receiving yards.
The duo is poised to do heavy damage again this time against the Jaguars’ stop unit that gave up 429 passing yards in a 47-27 road loss to the Ole Miss Rebels in Week 1. Set to play in its home debut this season, South Alabama hopes that an upset win is on the cards at Ladd Stadium. Last year, the Jaguars took down No. 19 San Diego State at home.
Writer’s Prediction
Oklahoma State’s (-28) offense sizzles again in a 41-21 victory.

Line: Colorado Rockies vs. Los Angeles Dodgers– view all MLB lines
The Rockies and the Dodgers play the second of their four-game set in Los Angeles tonight with German Marquez and Yu Darvish on the mound for their respective teams. Colorado’s Marquez (10-6, 4.26 ERA) has done a decent job of late, with the Rockies going 3-1 in his last four starts. He picked up a loss in his last start, though, allowing four earned runs on six hits in six innings of a 5-1 defeat in Arizona on Sep. 3.
Darvish, on the other hand, is in some kind of funk, going 0-2 with eight earned runs on 14 hits across eight total innings in his last two starts. On the season, Darvish is 8-11 with a 4.09 ERA in 27 combined starts with the Texas Rangers and the Dodgers.
Writer’s Prediction
Colorado wins, 6-4.
