Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Philadelphia Flyers (7:30 PM ET)

Line: Pittsburgh Penguins (-150) at Philadelphia Flyers (+130); total 5.5view these lines

Sidney Crosby

Despite being one of the favorites to win the Eastern Conference, the Pittsburgh Penguins are struggling to keep their Metropolitan Division opponents under wraps. The Pens are 6-8-3 against the Metropolitan after dropping back-to-back games against the Islanders and the Rangers the past weekend. They’re also on a five-game losing streak to tonight’s opponents, the Philadelphia Flyers.

Pittsburgh netminder Marc-Andre Fleury has posted a 4.04 goals-against average starting in each of the Pens’ last five games against the Flyers. Jakub Voraceck and Claude Giroux lead the offensive charge for Philadelphia. Voraceck has two goals and four assists in his last three games against Pittsburgh, while Giroux has a goal and eight assists over his past four.

Writer’s Prediction

The Flyers continue their string of success against Pittsburgh. Take Philadelphia to win outright.
