[sc:NBAArticles ]Indiana Pacers vs. Washington Wizards (8:00 PM ET)
Line: Indiana Pacers (+4.5) at Washington Wizards (-4.5); total: 180.5 – view all NBA lines
Led by Marcin “The Polish Hammer” Gortat’s 31 points and 16 rebounds, the Washington Wizards knocked the stuffing out of the Pacers in Indiana to stave off elimination. John Wall (27 points) also got his act together after failing to impress early in the series. The Wizards will hope to have more of the same offense from the two at home, where the total has gone over in three of their four playoff games.
[sc:NBA240banner ]But don’t count out the Pacers just yet. This is still a team that took both games in Washington and with Paul George (15 points in Game 5) and Roy Hibbert (four points, two rebounds) set for bounce back games, the Pacers are certainly capable of taking another game on the road. Indiana is 4-0 SU/ATS in their last four road games. Check out our comprehensive Pacers-Wizards Game 6 preview.
Writer’s Prediction
Paul George and the Pacers will take it to the Wizards in Washington. Take the Pacers +4.5 to cover in Game 6.
Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Los Angeles Clippers (10:30 PM ET)
Line: Oklahoma City Thunder (+4.5) vs. Los Angeles Clippers (-4.5); total: 212.0 – view all NBA lines
The Thunder pulled out a miraculous comeback in Game 5 to take a huge 3-2 series lead. Russell Westbrook (38 points, 14-16 FTs) stepped up with Kevin Durant (27 points, 6-for-22 FGs) struggling, but the MVP delivered the big shots when they mattered. The Thunder will try to close it out on the road, where they’re 3-1 SU/3-0-1 ATS in their last four games.
But as they showed in their own comeback in Game 4, the Clippers won’t give up without a fight. Blake Griffin (24 points, 17 rebounds) notched his first postseason double-double in Game 5, while Chris Paul should be eager to atone for his costly errors in Game 6 in LA. The Clippers are 7-3 SU in their last 10 home games. Read more in our Thunder-Clippers Game 6 preview.
Writer’s Prediction
The Clippers will recover and their weapons will pull them clear of the Thunder. Take the Clippers to win and cover -4.5 at home.
